This BOWSEN design Universal Garage Door Bottom Weatherproof Seal and Retainer Kit is a great option for wood garage doors and any type of door with a flat bottom. This retainer can be used in many other applications, such as the edge of gates, sliding doors, entry doors, and many other uneven floor types of situations.
The seal insert is held in place with a sturdy aluminum extrusion fastened to the bottom of the door with screws. (The aluminum retainer track width is 1-5/8 inch).
High performance, made of durable, black EPDM synthetic rubber, this kit is excellent for extreme temperature conditions (-40° to 240°F). It has passed the Low Temperature Flexibility, Aging Resistance Test, and Bottom Anti Seepage Test. This Door Weatherstrip & Accessories kit includes a 16.67 foot kit of aluminum with 5 each at 40 inches, allowing you to cut the tracks yourself. You will also receive the weather seal in a 16 foot kit with one each. It comes with 2 rubber end plugs and self-drilling screws.
